- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 green pepper diced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
- 1 loaf of French bread
- 8 slices Swiss cheese
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Add the ground beef, diced onion, diced green pepper, salt, and pepper in a frying pan. Cook until the meat is fully cooked, then drain the excess grease.
Add the BBQ sauce to the cooked meat mixture and mix it all to combine the flavors.
Cut the top off the French bread and hollow it out to create a filling space.
Pour the prepared meat mixture into the hollowed-out French bread and spread it out evenly.
Cover with Swiss cheese slices on top of the meat entirely.
Put the top of the bread back in place and wrap the entire loaf with foil.
Place the foil-wrapped French bread on a baking sheet and bake it in the oven for 20 minutes.
