Korean Beef and Rice

Korean beef and rice, also known as "Bulgogi" is a traditional dish that is loved all around the world. This dish is made with thinly sliced beef that is marinated in a flavorful sauce made with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and other seasonings. The beef is then cooked until it is tender and juicy, and served with a side of rice.

- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium white onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 cups jasmine rice cooked
- 1 bunch green onions chopped
Using a frying pan over medium-high heat, add sesame oil.
In the pan, place ground beef, onion, and garlic.
Cook until the meat is cooked completely. Using a paper towel, whip out excess grease.
Then add brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir until completely incorporated.
Continue cooking for 2 to 3 minutes. Taste and adjust salt and pepper if needed.
Serve Korean Beef on top of rice and top with green onions. Serve and enjoy!
