- ½ cup butter
- 4 ½ cups baking mix (such as Bisquick)
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda (such as 7-up)
- 1 cup sour cream
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). While the oven heats up, place the butter in a 9x13-inch baking dish and let it melt in the preheating oven.
Combine the baking mix, lemon-lime soda, and sour cream in a mixing bowl. Mix until the dough holds together and becomes slightly sticky.
Transfer the dough onto a floured work surface and roll it out to form a 1-inch thick circle. Use a cookie cutter or the rim of a wine glass to cut out dough circles.
Place the cut circles of dough into the melted butter in the baking dish.
Bake the biscuits in the oven until they turn a beautiful golden brown, usually around 10 to 12 minutes.
Once the biscuits are done baking, remove the dish from the oven and allow them to stand, letting them absorb all the buttery goodness.
