Creamy chicken casserole is a delicious and hearty meal that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you are cooking for a family dinner or hosting a party, this casserole is sure to please. It is easy to make, can be prepared in advance, and can be customized to your liking with your favorite ingredients.
This Chicken Casserole recipe I learned to make from my Grandma Carroll. She was an awesome cook and she taught me so many things about cooking and life. I love and miss her everyday. This recipe has so much flavor and has the prefect balance of crunchy and creamy textures. It is quick and easy for any busy mom to cook up for her family.
Here is what you need to make Chicken Casserole:
Ingredients
- 1 Rotisserie Chicken or 2 chicken breast (cooked)
- Family size cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 packages of club crackers
- 1 stick of butter
Instructions
Shred chicken and put In a 9×13 dish. Then add cream of chicken soup and sour cream. Mix to combine. In a gallon zip lock bag crush cracker (I used a rolling pin). Melt butter and add to crackers, mix well. Add to top of the casserole. In a 350 degree oven cook for 30 minutes or until you can see it bubbling around the edges. Serve with rice. I hope you give it a try.
