  • 2 (10oz) packages frozen corn, thawed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 6 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • pinch white pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

 

Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine the corn, milk, cream, salt, sugar, and white pepper.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat. Then, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Then, stir in the flour until well combined.

Add the butter and flour mixture to the corn mixture, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. This should take about 10 minutes.

Serve hot and enjoy!
