Tools:

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs of ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 46 oz can of tomato juice
  • 28 oz can of diced tomatoes
  • 3 celery ribs, diced
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 15 oz can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni

Instructions:

Browning the Beef Start by cooking the ground beef and chopped onions over medium heat in a large skillet until the meat is no longer pink. Once cooked, drain any excess grease from the beef and onions.

Combine the Ingredients in the Slow Cooker. It’s time to add the tomato juice and diced tomatoes, giving the chili its luscious tomato base. Toss in the chopped celery, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, mustard, pepper, and kidney beans. Transfer the cooked beef and onions to your slow cooker. Stir everything together to ensure all the flavors meld together.

Let the Magic Happen. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it on low heat. Allow the Crockpot Chili Mac to cook and simmer for 6 to 8 hours. The flavors will develop during this time, creating a mouthwatering aroma filling your kitchen and making everyone impatiently await dinner time.

Adding the Macaroni. Gently stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni, making sure it’s evenly distributed throughout the chili. Let it cook for the remaining hour, allowing the pasta to absorb all the delicious flavors from the chili.

The Finishing Touch, Ladle this delectable mixture into bowls, and sprinkle some grated cheese on top if you’re a cheese lover. The melted cheese adds a creamy touch that takes this dish to a new level of deliciousness.

Enjoy! Gather your loved ones around the table and savor this heartwarming meal together. The combination of tender beef, flavorful beans, zesty tomatoes, and comforting pasta will surely make it a family favorite.
