Ingredients:

  • 2 tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 small red onion (diced)
  • 1 bunch of green onions (chopped)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar
  • 1 can (20 oz) of diced tomatoes with the liquid
  • 2 cans (4 oz) of diced green chilies
  • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Begin by gathering all the ingredients and a large mixing bowl to prepare the salsa.

Dice the tomatoes and the small red onion. Chop the bunch of green onions. These ingredients will add a fresh and vibrant taste to the salsa.

Open the can of diced tomatoes and retain the liquid, as it will contribute to the salsa’s texture and flavor.

Drain and add the two cans of diced green chilies to the mixing bowl. These chilies will provide a mild heat and a pleasant tang to the salsa.

Sprinkle the garlic powder into the bowl, ensuring it is evenly distributed among the other ingredients.

Season the salsa with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences. Remember, you can always add more later, so start with a conservative amount and adjust as needed.

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly, ensuring that the flavors are well combined. Take a moment to appreciate the bowl’s beautiful colors and aromatic scents.

Before serving, taste the salsa and make any necessary adjustments, adding more salt and pepper if needed.

At this point, you have two options. If you’re ready to indulge in the salsa immediately, grab some tortilla chips or your favorite dipping vessel and enjoy the fresh flavors immediately.

Alternatively, if you have time before serving, cover the salsa and refrigerate it until you’re ready to enjoy it. This will allow the flavors to meld together, creating an even more delicious salsa experience.
