Whether hosting a summer garden party or simply craving a sweet and tangy indulgence, this lemon bar recipe will impress your taste buds and leave you yearning for more. So, grab your apron, and let’s dive into the world of these delectable citrus delights!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

In a bowl, mix flour, butter, and powdered sugar.

Then press in the bottom of an 8×8 baking dish pressing 1/2 inches up all the sides, forming the crust.

In a 350-degree oven, cook the crust for 20 minutes.

While the crust is cooking, mix eggs, sugar, baking powder, salt, and lemon juice.

Mix for 3 minutes until smooth.

When the crust is done, pour the mixture on the crust and cook for 25 minutes.

Cool, then cut into squares and serve.

You can top them with cream cheese frosting and toasted coconut. This is how I like to serve mine.

In Conclusion:

Following this simple recipe, you can create a batch of homemade lemon bars that will rival any bakery.
